Snacking is one of my favorite ways to keep my metabolism going. The key is moderation and picking healthy options.

Here are my top 5 favorite healthy snacks:


Hummus is one of my all-time favorite snacks. Hummus is made of garbanzo beans, tahini, and olive oil. This healthy and flavorful snack that will keep you full until your next meal. For extra fiber, pair it with some carrots.

Pretzels are another great option for satisfying your salty snack craving. Since pretzels are baked, this option is much healthier than potato or tortilla chips.

Almonds are my favorite and one of the healthier choices in the nut family. They contain a lot of protein and manganese, which will increase your energy until your next meal.
